Pretty awesome Non-Stop Flights on jetBlue to almost-never-on-sale New Mexico. Super light snow, tons of bluebird days and off the beaten path. Sounds good to me!
PLUS get 45% off Lift Tickets at Taos Ski Valley AND 20% off stays of 4 Days+ when you use Coupon Code: tsvlos, alternately Priceline has 4-Star in-Village Lodging from $99/nt. If you bought your Mountain Collective Pass you ski your first two days at TAOS free.
NY/NJ to New Mexico is almost always $300+ — these cheap flights save 55% and get you there Non-Stop on jetBlue.
While we see deals to Colorado and Tahoe frequently, New Mexico always seems to be one of those destinations that is consistently more expensive than you would think to fly into. For good reason, it's worth a look at least once.
Here's a great one from Solomon with a great intro with a few minutes of Taos history and some seriously good skiing.
Take a look at how light the snow is, freaking nuts:
For those who have an itchy trigger finger there is even some availability next week for roughly the same price (but with One-Stop as opposed to Non-Stop).
Cheap Taos New Mexico Ski Passes
There are some super solid 30% discounts on Lift Tickets from getSkiTickets.com (alternate cheap ticket option to Liftopia) also some solid reviews over there if you are wondering what people think of Taos.
The best part of the GetLiftTickets.com rate is that it actually saves 30% off the already discounted Multi-Day lift ticket rates. This is like stacking 30% off an already 20% off Lift Ticket.
A normal day pass costs $105, a normal 6 Day ticket goes for $510 (20% off) but the Get Ski Tickets pass for 6 days is only $357, that equates to $59 a day or 45% off the normal Lift Ticket price. That is a seriously cheap day of premium riding if you can swing the time off at work.
The above actually stacks with a Mountain Collective pass (which covers 2 days at the following resorts) for those who want to do a longer trip, and plan to ski some other killer hills this year.
Looks like MC is almost sold out, but still a great deal considering we will absolutely have multiple deals to Banff / Lake Louise, Colorado and Mammoth coming late this year.
Cheap New Mexico Ski Lodging
So there are some seriously great options in the $100/nt range, while The Blake (seen above) is not one of them, even The Blake is running ~25% off at $229/nt:
I personally think the best option is the 4-star Alpine Villiage Suites for $99/nt on Priceline. Can't find a price like that on the east coast that's for sure.
You can also book direct with Taos Ski Valley using Coupon Code: tsvlos to knock 20% off Multi-Night Stays at the Columbine Inn.
