The Boston ski deals have been few and far between of late, this one gets you all the way to AK for less than you would normally pay to get to the west coast.
Boston to Alaska normally runs $550+, these trips get you there for 45% less, with a SINGLE Stop in Seattle on Snow sport Friendly Alaska Airlines.
As mentioned Alaska has made a serious effort to help out anyone flying with them to ride. Last year they were even offering a free lift ticket on arrival at Alyeska.
In case you were wondering: Yeah. They get some snow.
While I am still waiting for confirmation from Alaska Airlines as to whether or not they are going to carry that offer over to this season, I do expect the free ticket voucher to be available, here's the details. Just be aware that you are booking before we hear back on the 17/18 season.
Ski + Snowboard
For those of you not satisfied with the above free ticket, Aleyska also sports it's own helipad. The only thing better than flying down the hill is flying back up to the top.
Aleyska is about 40 minutes from Anchorage and there are ample shuttles to get you there from the airport (so rental cars are not a requirement on this one). Lift Tickets are reasonable at $65, but Aleyska DID list on Liftopia last year so I wouldn't be surprised to see cheap lift passes come up at some point between now and January.
If not, you can always hike it.
Not a ton of availability on this one so those of you who haven't signed up as Email Supporters yet (it's free) are only getting two trip options this time around.
You can search around and find others yourself, but wouldn't it be easier to sign up as a Pro/Am Supporter (from $6/mo) and get the best dates hand delivered to you?
As a Pro/Am you get more cheap flights (most importantly insane deals that never go public) and we get one more reason to keep digging up Boston deals just like this one.
